Dr. Oz: Buckwheat Banana Muffins Recipe

The following ingredients will be needed for this recipe:

  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 2 1/2 medium-sized bananas that have been pureed
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup of toasted buckwheat flour

Directions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 375 degrees. Next, whisk together all of the dry ingredients in one small bowl. Then, whisk all wet ingredients together in a larger bowl before whisking them both together. Next, scoop the mixture into muffin tins that have been sprayed with canola oil. Bake the muffins for approximately 20-23 minutes. After baking, let the muffins cool for 10 minutes before serving.
